Astronomy engine
Astronomy Engine 2.1.19, MIT licensed, is pinned in this application for deterministic geometry calculations.
Target catalog
Target identifiers and names reference the open OpenNGC catalog. The small validation catalog is curated for planning.
Equipment catalog
Initial smart-telescope data is imported from the open APTS project and retains its source URL and license. Entries marked manufacturer verified have been checked against a first-party specification.
Privacy
Planning does not require an account. Reminder and alert email addresses, approximate location, equipment settings, delivery records, and consent are stored in PostgreSQL. Anonymous product events are stored without cookies and with a salted hash of network and browser metadata.
